On June 26-30, Saturn Infotech along with approximately 7,000 other exhibitors and attendees flocked to downtown Chicago for Kscope16, the largest Oracle user group conference hosted by ODTUG (Oracle Development Tools User Group). Kscope attracts the world’s leading experts on Oracle technology. This year the crowd was filled with a range of BI and EPM users, developers, as well as Oracle Partners. Saturn had a large team in attendance this year made up of our CEO, Director of Sales, Subject Matter Expert, Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, and two EPM Solutions Architects.
Kscope16 was held at the Sheraton Grand Chicago in Chicago, IL. Conference highlights included hands-on training sessions and three full days of symposiums featuring Oracle VPs and product managers, where attendees learned what is new and what to look for in the future. Saturn’s Senior EPM Solutions Architect, Shreyas Krishna, experienced Kscope conference sessions for the first time, and they did not disappoint. “My favorite sessions were the hands on training sessions and Oracle’s demo of all the new features in the upcoming PBCS Update. One of features can be applied directly to solve an issue one of our clients is facing right now!” Krishna added, who also happened to earn himself a third place finish in the Kscope16 Scavenger hunt.
For the fourth consecutive year, Saturn showcased our services and solutions at the exhibit hall throughout the 4 day span of the conference. The Kscope16 exhibit hall booths attracted top-notch Oracle experts and users who engaged in great discussions and networking with Saturn. “I enjoyed meeting with clients and discussing their current environment and future roadmap around EPM and BI implementations,” said CEO of Saturn, Steve Vibhute when talking about his time at Kscope. Saturn was focused on gathering and sharing knowledge by connecting with clients and Oracle Product Development teams. Saturn shared our latest company news, with a continued focus on the Cloud, Saturn’s managed services offerings, and prebuilt accelerator solutions.
Other exciting information was released at Kscope16 revealing that at the close of 2016 there will be a major on-premise release of Planning that will sync up with the newest features currently available in the cloud.
Saturn continues to stay on the forefront of the latest developments in the Business Intelligence and Hyperion/EPM space, and we’re pleased to announce that we will be back at Kscope17, which will be held in San Antonio, Texas.
